Qigong Chan Workshop for Well-Being

ABOUT THE COURSE

Well-being is the state of being comfortable, healthy, or happy. Nowadays, many experience restlessness and anxiety due to body and mind disconnection. This nine workshops course focuses on embodied practice and integrates three forms of well-being: physical, mental, & emotional, for holistic self-care. There are different sets of stillness and movement practice for you to apply according to various conditions in daily life. 

After learning the course, When you are physically tired, you will know how to rejuvenate yourself with various breathing techniques and meditation practices. When you are mentally challenged or exhausted, you can connect body & mind and practice Qigong for oneness and energy flow. You learn to create space when a particular emotion hijacks you. Simplicity becomes the norm, and life is beautiful with presence, authenticity, and insight once you know how to listen and care for yourself holistically. According to TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine), Fall is the season associated with the Lung; we will also introduce The meridian tapping method and Qigong for cleansing and strengthening lung health.

The Meditative (Chan) practice of Qigong & Taichi brings body, mind, and breath in oneness, promoting health and healing; the embodiment of ease, joy, and flow comes from regular daily mindful practices of letting go and creating space. Price: $260/ 9 sessions ($230/9 sessions discount if register before Oct 15th )

INSTRUCTOR VIVIANE CHEN’S BIO

Awarded “Outstanding Educator” Viviane Chen is a devoted practitioner and teacher of Qigong, TaiChi, and Spirituality. She has trained with leading instructors in the United States and Asia, including Master Ping Zhen Cheng (founder of Taichizen -“Enlightened Living”), Master Alex Dong (fourth generation of the renowned Dong family of Taichiquan), Grandmaster Dr. Ye Rui-Chun (disciple of Ye Da Mi-founder of Ye style Taichi) and Grandmaster Chen Xiaowang (the nineteenth generation standard-bearer of the Chen Family. 

Ms. Chen has also studied meditation with Tibetan Master Tsoknyi Rinpoche and received holistic well-being training from numerous institutions. In so doing, she has developed a unique approach to these disciplines’ teaching and practice, integrating key elements of various traditions and creating space to apply them within our fast-paced modern lives.

She shares her personal experience and benefits from Qigong, Taichi, and Meditation practice, hoping that more people can learn to take holistic care of their bodies and minds. She believes that a peaceful mind, a compassionate heart, and a healthy body are the keys to a fulfilling life.
