All Ages Unwind With Hand Embroidery
Kids, teens, and family — join us at Chan Space for a delightful afternoon where we will be exploring our creativity by creating art in an unusual but fun way. You can put away your paint kits because we will be using a needle and thread to make embroidery art! You can choose your own kit to work on, or draw your own design. In this 2-hour workshop, Zohara will show you how to prepare your needle and thread, do basic stitches, and to find your inner calm through the art of embroidery.
Sunday, Jan 19th is a special Unwind & Upcycle workshop where you’re encouraged to bring your own t-shirt, sweater, tote bag, etc. that you’d like to embroider a name, short phrase, or icon onto. Re-use those old threads!
$25 workshop donation includes material fees.
